What is DiarPECT?

DiarPECT is a drink supplement that supports the digestion of calves and other young animals during the critical stages of the rearing process.

The combination of extracted and therefore water-soluble pectin, crucial electrolytes and functional citrus fibres helps to prevent and treat digestive disorders. Dextrose provides extra energy and enhances the flavour of the drink.

Action and effect – for successful calf rearing

The pectin has a prebiotic effect and starts working immediately in the digestive tract, with the following actions and effects (see table).

DiarPECT is therefore suitable for preventing digestive disorders during the critical phases, as well as for providing fast and reliable immediate aid in the event of diarrhoea in calves during the rearing or fattening process.

Application

DiarPECT can be blended directly with the milk or milk substitute. The functional citrus fibres help it to blend in easily and prevent sedimentation and deposits from the moment it is added. It is also possible to administer DiarPECT via the medication dosing feeders at automatic feeders. The milk drink is immediately ready to be consumed as soon as the DiarPECT has been mixed in and can be drunk at the desired temperature.

We recommend administering based on the following dosing guidelines.

Packaging

DiarPECT is available in a resealable tub or a bag. A measuring spoon is included to aid dosing. One level measuring spoon is equivalent to 20 g.
