What is depectinised apple pomace?
Depectinised apple pomace is a valuable by-product that is produced when extracting pectin from apple pomace. As a result of the pectin being extracted, the raw fibre content of depectinised apple pomace is 40% higher than in conventional apple pomace.
What are the benefits of depectinisation?
With a raw fibre content of 28%, our depectinised apple pomace is ideal for adjusting the raw fibre content in rations, making Herbavital a valuable feed material for many recipes.
Our certified food production process produces this premium apple raw fibre source in a consistently high quality. Variations in the raw fibre content, bulk weight, look and other key parameters are minimal because the raw material for the pectin plant is standardised in large batches. Production runs 350 days a year, so Herbavital depectinised apple pomace is always freshly available.
Herbavital is available in the form of flakes (Herbavital F 12), pellets (Herbavital P), in sieved form (Herbavital PET) and in ground form (Herbavital fine apple pomace).
